I love my job. And it keeps me so damn busy at the moment! I din't even find the time to get my car repaired today. Ok, new try tomorrow. Jeez, I haven't worked that much overtime in ages. And it's still fun!! And... chaotic4life had her first day with us today. And it was fun. Finally back together *gg*.

I watched "Oyster Farmer" last week and OMFG Alex O'Loughlin is so damn hot! Now I just have to watch "Feed", "The Invisible" and "Mary Bryant".

I had a "Lord of the Rings" weekend. Spent the whole Saturday evening and the whole Sunday watching the extanded versions. So much fun. I nearly forgot hoe much I love it. I need to read the books again. But first I have to finish "the vampire chronicles". Can the days have 36 hours please?

Bones and Criminal Minds last week were awesome. CSI NY was ok, but I would have expected more from the whole 333 storyline.

Oh... All spelling mistakes are mine! I'm tired to death at the moment.

I just came back from my parents. My granduncle will go to the hospital tomorrow and the operation is scheduled for Wednesday. But his doc said that they discovered the cancer really early and that he should be ok after the operations. The worst thing that could happen is that they have to remove some part of the stomach and the bowel but hey, that's nothing, right? I feel so much better now. It's still risky but it doesn't seem to be that bad anymore.

I'm still a little bit worried about Moonlight. Can someone from CBS please tell me, if this show has some future? I know, I couldn't change it if it doesn't but this show definitely deserves to stay. I wanna see more Coraline and Mick/Beth. Ok, most of all I wanna see more Mick *g*. I saw the ratings for Friday night this morning and hey, it could be waaaaaaay worse.
And speaking of Moonlight.... I should work on my vid again! But... I still haven't finished "Interview with the vampire" yet. Damn. Book or video. Or both??

It started last Sunday. Scratchy throat. I went home from work early on Monday and Tuesday. My colleagues nearly kicked me out of the office and when my boss told me I looked like death itself I decided it would be better to go home. And that's where I stayed on Wednesday. Like always I got bored around 2pm. I HATE being sick. And this damn cold is still there!!!! It's way better but it's still there and I'm getting frustrated. Someone out there who can do some magic???? *puppy dog eyes*

My Dad called this morning and told me to bring the keys to their house when I come over tomorrow cause it could happen that they will be late. Huh? Dear parents, your plan for tomorrow was: Stay at home and make lunch. But... My parents received a call from my grandaunt this morning. My granduncle has stomach and bowel cancer. He has to be in hospital tomorrow evening and they'll operate the bowel cancer on Monday morning.Until then they can't tell how good or bad things are. So my parents will visit him tomorrow morning. And for the stomach cancer... He has to go to a special hospital, there are only a few in Germany able to do an operation like this. Gladly there's one in Düsseldorf so it's not that far.
But I saw my grandmother die of kidney and liver cancer and I don't wanna see anything like this again. It was the most horrible time in my life and I don't want my granduncle to suffer as much as my grandmother did. Honestly, I can't stand that again. It's so hard to see someone you love die like this, when the whole personality changes and you try to cling to the wonderful memories.
But there's still a little chance that he won't die, right?

So I tried to distract myself today.
First of all: YEAH! They are getting back to the table! Finally the WGA and the AMPTP decided to talk again. That's a start, right? Talking is good.
Second: Moonlight worked pretty well. The new ep was awesome, but the preview for next week... sdjaaox,jakölxarkgah,örkhaö!!!! OMFG!!! I so love Coraline!!!!
I tried to find the songs they used in this ep. I tried the whole day and ended up with two songs. Hello??? Two out of what... Six? I can't believe I can't find them. I have nearly every song they used on this show and I can't figure out these? Guess I have to do some more research.

Plan for this evening: Get drunk, find the songs (what could be pretty tough with all the alcohol) and watch Moonlight again. 

New Layout, new fav TV show, new job... Interersting what can happen within a year. I can't believe I didn't change anything here for over a year.
I'm working on a new music video, the first one in ages. And it's so much fun again :-)

Here I am again. Still haven't seen last weeks CSI (and DON'T tell me what I'm missing, I don't need even more people telling me that this is the best season ever, IMO it's not, so don't try to convience me). 
It took longer than I intended to to make some new icons. Only five NCIS and seven not related to any TV show *gg*

Nothing really exciting happened in the last few days. I invited my parents for breakfast next Sunday, I need a reason to clean up my flat and somehow this only works when I have to. And my parents visiting me is the best reason ever to clean up. 

Oh, and I hate these days when I come home with a plan in my head what I wanna do. And believe me, it never works that way. I come home with two options. Making icons or working on my music video. Guess what... I neither made icons nor did I work on my video. Why do these days happen so often at the moment? Not that hard, just come home and start working on whatever. Can't be that hard? *hmph* Btw, thanks for the song Stef! *hugs*. I will give it a try tomorrow. And Claudi, if I can't tell you that I finished about 30 secs of my vid... You can officially slap me on my head!

About time for some changes and yes, I know, it's pink. Pink is somehow strange for me. But guess what? I have a new love! I really, really love this color by now. So much more girly...

And yes, I know that there's NO CSI in the header. But because CSI isn't my fav show any longer I thought something different in the header would fit perfectly. Don't worry, I still love CSI but it's not my number one show any longer. 

There will be some more icons in the near future and I hope I can update more regularly.

Last night probably was the first night ever I was really happy I couldn't sleep. Why? Because I watched the Emmys. Live and without any dubbings. And to be honest: Who in this world can sleep after seeing Billy and Hugh looking this damn good??? Ok, actually Hugh was looking fabulous. I'm still a little unsure about Billy. Don't get me wrong, he still looks good without the beard but it's far from the OMGLOOKATHIMOMG.



Can somebody please get his shaver and just through it away?
But... as mentioned before, at least Hugh looked as good as ever. And it took me only 5 seconds to recognize he repeated everything Helen Mirren said in Frensh. I know, I'm a smart girl. *wacko* But it sounded kinda weird...
